I loved everything about the job. It was very people oriented and involved lots of public speaking and a general knowledge about the garden. I had to know every species of plant in the garden and some that were around town as well. I also needed to know a general history of the whole town. I loved my co-workers and dressing up as my job.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish was different was the weather. The job was manual labor outside in period clothing. And some days it would reach 102 degrees outside. My boss was very kind with breaks though.
Advice
Find an internship that interests you, it makes the experience more worthwhile.
