The urban team was very willing to include us in projects and use us, so we were always working on projects throughout the internship. They also would give us freedom to perform our work and get it back to them for review rather than watching over our shoulders the entire time.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more commercial real estate knowledge before going into the internship, so I could have worked on bigger projects from the start, rather than really beginning to understand everything right when the internship was ending.
Advice
Take in all the advice and knowledge that you can, especially from the weekly brokerage meetings where you can learn a lot about the industry and market you are working with.
