College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) is a comprehensive community college based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. CEI offers associate of arts and science degrees with transferable general education credits as well as career technical applied science degrees. CEI is fully accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Our mission is to provide open-access to affordable and quality education that meets the needs of students, regional employers, and community.
The College was created in 1969 to serve citizens in its nine county service area. CEI is a low-cost, open-door institution that champions technical programs, customized industry training, basic skills instruction, workforce and community education, early college for high school, and on-line distance education.
