About Cohlmia Marketing

Cohlmia Marketing is a full-service advertising agency offering integrated marketing and media buying services. Originally established in 1995 by Melissa Cohlmia, the firm was purchased in 2006 by her sister, Carol Skaff, an accredited public relations professional with experience in the agency and corporate worlds. Continuing on the momentum of its first decade, Cohlmia Marketing’s service model is predicated on strategic, methodical image development for long-term relationship-oriented clients.

In 2011, Cohlmia Marketing moved from its first location in Wichita’s Old Town to another historic building in Delano, the original Travel Air Manufacturing Company. Founded in 1925 by Walter Beech, Clyde Cessna and Lloyd Stearman, the Travel Air Manufacturing Company once created no less than 19 aircraft which were significant to our city’s mark on the aviation industry. At its founding, Travel Air Manufacturing also established Wichita’s first landing field behind the building where these early aircraft were literally rolled out and tested within four blocks of Wichita’s bustling core.

From our Delano storefront, we are surrounded by progress and activity. On any given day, the sidewalk outside of 535 West Douglas is populated with shoppers, business people, urban dwellers, residents and dog walkers from the nearby neighborhoods. We have a front row seat for the Wichita River Festival, BlackTop Nationals and an array of other events. We are within walking distance or a short drive from Delano restaurants and retail shops, the WaterWalk, Old Town, Commerce Street, Downtown, the Arkansas River, River Vista and the soon-to-be-developed baseball stadium.

With so much activity going on around us, it’s a wonder we get any work done, but we do, and plenty of it. A glance through our portfolio will provide a sampling of the strategic tools we provide to our clients every day.
