I was given a lot of independence in the project and a lot of trust was placed in us, which was a big confidence boost. The project also taught us a lot about the systems we were working within. This project also allowed us to interact with many other Philadelphia organizations so we were able to see many other organizations outside of just our office.
What I wish was different
There were a lot of moments where there wasn't anything to do because the project was being split across two people. Despite asking to be involved in other projects, we were not assigned any other major tasks. I wish I could've been of more use to the organization.
Advice
Take every opportunity. Anytime an organization asks you to go somewhere, be part of an event, or anything of that nature, take advantage of it. You never know what event might open doors for you.
