What I liked
The freedom to pursue a variety of different initiatives. I also appreciated the warmth and kindness with which I was constantly shown by the staff of the organization.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more individuals working for the organization at the time. It seems to be at a low-point in terms of community and external involvement, which makes it difficult to achieve larger-scale, meaningful change.
Advice
Think of a specific project that you would like to pursue before you arrive at the organization. This will help you maximize the impact you will be able to make during your time there.
