What I wish was different
The training is almost completely on-the-job, and the new people often have to work alone. This makes the learning process a bit longer and more difficult, but other RAs are always willing to teach.
Advice
Learn as much as you can, as fast as you can, and take notes if you can. It makes the job easier while you're learning.
