CLIMB Works

Zip line guide

May - August 2020 • Gatlinburg, TN

What I liked

I liked being able to meet new people and push myself out of my comfort zone. Being able to do things on my own and with a new group of people who think and act differently then those I surround myself with at home.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had more free time to experience and explore everything around me. The lack of free time also made it hard for me to want to hangout after work.

Advice

I would tell anyone and everyone to just go. Go do that thing or see that place; work somewhere FAR from home. Get out of your comfort zone because it will be one of the best choices you make.

What I liked

It's a great environment to be around because it is so fun and not to mention beautiful. It is also great because you get to network with so many people that come through the place.

What I wish was different

I wouldn't really change anything. It is an awesome experience.

Advice

Just give it your all and talk to everyone. You never know who you will meet and what that will do to your life.

Zipline Tour Guide Great Smoky Mountains

May - August 2018 • Gatlinburg, TN

What I liked

This experience was enjoyable from day one to the last day I was there. The people who worked here were one of a kind people who I am so grateful to have met. Also, the people that came from all over the world to enjoy nature were amazing human beings who shared stories and ideas that I have never heard before.

What I wish was different

Honestly, nothing. Everything that I experienced was suppose to happen and made me a better person, worker and student than I was before joining the Climbworks team.

Advice

Get out there. Go travel and don't stay attached to the hometown you grew up in because that place will always be there for you when you're older, but having the chance to travel and experience the world may not always be there.
