What I liked

I love working for Climate Nexus. The work I do is meaningful and I learn new things every day, and the organization is perfectly aligned with what I want to do as a career. Everyone in the office is really welcoming and nice, and they are super flexible and let me make my own schedule.

What I wish was different

I would have been willing to work more hours or even full-time for the summer, but they capped it at 20 hours.

Advice

Speak up for yourself and ask for what you want! Toward the end of the summer, I asked if I could stay on for the fall and they said yes right away! But they might not have known I wanted to do that if I hadn't asked.
