What I liked
Learned various field And research techniques and how to maintain museum collections. My supervisors were very knowledgeable and helpful!
What I wish was different
Sometimes there was not much supervision in the lab, making it hard to ask questions.
Advice
Make sure to purchase insect repellent and field clothes to have on the first field day.

What I liked
I love being able to combine my love for art with my fascination of the natural world. Scientific communication is critical to translate scientific ideas to the global community. A picture speaks a thousand words!

Advice
If you have an interest in something, go after it. Grades matter, but they are not everything- if you have a passion for something, don't be afraid to branch out and talk to professors about your options.
