I really enjoyed the hands on experience this internship was able to offer. We had the freedom to observe courtrooms and, depending on you judge, see the day to day workings in their chambers.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more all-intern events as, after we were assigned our various positions, we rarely saw each other.
Advice
Go into this expecting it to be a full time job. You will be clocking in and out and working close to, if not exactly, 40 hours a week. You will form relationships with your coworkers and and be depended on as part of your departments team.
