I liked the independence involved with being a research volunteer, in addition to the personal connections I made with the Conservation Department at the zoo.

I wish that there were more projects going on that I could have been a part of, but I understand that they can only do so many.

I would share that zoos are highly misunderstood places and are very important for raising money for worldwide conservation practices.

What I liked
What I liked about my job was the experience I gained to wanting to be a women's high school golf coach. It also allowed me to share my knowledge and skills of golf and seeing those kids faces smile when they achieved a skill always made my day. It was a fun job overall and it got me to think like a coach and a teacher.

There really inst anything I would change about the job.

One piece advice is to have fun and enjoy the kids because they really make the day fun with an engaging experience.
