There were several opportunities to utilize the skills that I had learned in several courses from networking, security and Systems Analysis and Design. Being able to put those skills to use in a business environment really helped get a better understanding of the fundamentals and underlying things that are needed.
What I wish was different
Gaining access to different systems and programs do take time, which ultimately takes away from your time/experience as you are waiting for access and can not be completing work and/or training.
Advice
Going into a company and using different software than you may be use to will be a learning curve. Also, do not be afraid to speak up if you see items that could be improved.
