I liked that I was working in the field and getting to do actual work rather than just running errands and sitting in meetings.
What I wish was different
Nothing. I had a unique experience and enjoyed it a lot.
Advice
Don't get intimidated. working in construction specifically you're gonna go through some hazing as an intern but if you learn to take it and how to properly give it back you'll do fine.

What I liked
I loved the entire experience. The company treats you great, there's a real sense of family in the office, all the people were great, and learning about a construction project was amazing!
What I wish was different
There was a "capstone" project that took away from the everyday learning on the site. It seemed like a waste of time because it was not related to what we did all summer.
Advice
Definitely take the chance and get out of your comfort zone!
