Working at Plaza was an amazing and unique experience during my gap year before medical school. I learned so much about how to use an EMR system, how to identify and code different medication conditions, how to read lab results and diagnostic exams, and so much more. This job is a unique experience you will not get anywhere else and I am confident the learning experiences and skills I gained as an HRDD Specialist have better prepared me to begin my medical education. All of my co-workers were extremely welcoming and helpful which made it such a great environment to work in. They were very accommodating to my schedule during my medical school interviews and were always open to help with any questions I had both during and after my training. I truly recommend this position to any pre-health students who want to gain more experience in the medical field and think critically about medical conditions.
