Working with children Working outside Regular pay and hours Training included developmental approaches, substance abuse/NARCAN, immigrant rights/ICE agents, and cultural inclusivity Paid training (week long)

What I wish was different

Newer program and training wasn’t always entirely structured Limited to 20 hours per week at some locations

Working with children doesn’t always go as planned; go with the flow, don’t be too detail oriented, and always practice kindness

I wish I could have worked a little bit more closer with my team, I also wish I could have met more people
