Everyone is nice and welcoming and is eager to help you learn new skills. Working in a team to complete jobs and repairs around the park system was a great learning experience in communication with the organization and with community members.
What I wish was different
I wish I had got to know more of the full time staff, as being put on different crews separates everyone and doesn’t necessarily allow the crews to mend together.
Advice
You have to be willing to get dirty and preform hard work for hours, the job will be physically demanding but it’s very rewarding when a project is finished.
