I enjoyed having the opportunity to develop construction designs and watch them come to fruition. I also enjoyed having the ability to work with a construction crew and oversee project development.
What I wish was different
I do wish I had the opportunity to work on a wider variety of projects. For the most part the work was limited to contract paving.
Advice
I found it extremely helpful when starting this internship to thoroughly read through all of the contract information. I also made an effort to get to know the people I was working with quickly.
