I serve as a supervisor for the camp held at the recreation center in Broadview Heights. As an early childhood education major, this job has provided me with great experience to help with my major. I love the kids and other employees that I work with! I was also offered a full time summer job for after I graduate.
What I wish was different
Although I love my coworkers, sometimes they had a hard time relating to and understanding the kids and issues that they may have been going through.
Advice
I was so lucky to stumble upon this job and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Camp positions provide great experiences for education majors.
