Cirrus is an amazing company that challenges general aviation. They are incredibly innovative and all the engineers are talented and hard-working. The entire company is one massive family and everyone is welcoming and willing to teach you.
I am truly proud to work for Cirrus as every day brings new adventures and tasks to work through.
What I wish was different
over the past 6 months working here, the one thing that I wish was different is the workload. When I came in (and for the first 3 months) the workload was very small and I was constantly trying to find something to do with my time.
Advice
It greatly benefits you (although not required) to have a background in aviation. The more experience you have the smaller the learning curve will be.
