I liked the job I was given that allowed me to help scouts coming to the TRJ camp. I also enjoyed meeting and staying in contact with the other interns throughout this internship as they helped make the internship more fun than what I expected it to be.
What I wish was different
The communication could have been better. While I was lucky to like the job I was in, management did switch me around to a place where I had no experience working, which was very overwhelming to keep up with at first. I eventually adapted but a warning or better communication would have been nice!
Advice
Be adaptable. Expect the unexpected. If you can do that and go through it with an open mind and a willingness to learn, then you got the skills to do an internship similar to this.
