Overall, the experience was really enjoyable. The staff at Chuy's is a big family and make everyone fell welcome. The managers at Chuy's try to work with your schedule as much as possible. Pay was decent on some days.
What I wish was different
I should have applied to be a server. In addition, I would have been more clear that I cannot work at certain times and days. Also that I cannot be there as soon as class is over. I wish I had worked here in the fall and spring rather than summer time. During summer Chuy's is very slow.
Advice
If you are going to take a summer job, make sure that you are able to work those hours. The managers try to work with your schedule. However, if you tell them that your class gets out at 4:15 they expect you to be there at 4:15. It seemed that they did not know it took 15 minutes from center of campus to get there. If you have class on a certain day in the afternoon do not work on that day.
