I wish they offered a sort of assistant manager position for the houses we staff.
Advice
Be aware of your own health status so you can better prepare to make sure this job is right for you. It can be stressful physically and emotionally, but the rewards of helping out outweigh any negative experiences as long as you're able to stay out of tunnel vision when things are such.
