I enjoyed witnessing my coworkers being respectful and compassionate with clients, they demonstrated Jesus' love by being empathetic while also being professional.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more opportunities to observe client meetings and to train on how to lead those meetings, but the COVID interruption put those goals on pause.
Advice
Be adaptable, always bring a good attitude to whatever the day holds, because while you may have certain goals for your time at Choices, it's most important to remember that you are there first and foremost to be a volunteer!
