What I liked

I like the people that I work with, how well chipotle works with my college schedule and any other accommodations I need, and I like that they offer tuition reimbursement.

What I wish was different

I wish that the management was different in terms of how things are handled and I wish that there would have been more staff for how busy we get.

Advice

I would say that working a summer job (especially at chipotle) is a more of a commitment than people thing mainly when working full time and only to do it knowing that.

What I liked

I loved my co-workers. They made me feel at home when I first started and they ensured that I was trained properly.

What I wish was different

I feel as though there could have been more teamwork involved when working under pressure. If there would have been a better sense of teamwork, we could have prepared and served food more efficiently.

Advice

If you are considering working at Chipotle, be prepared for a fast paced work environment. During peak hours (lunch and dinner time) things can get pretty busy and, at times, it can be overwhelming. As long as you stay focused and work together as a team, your work experience will be one to remember.

What I liked

I liked how student orientated it was, making it easier to connect with people and have a positive work environment.

What I wish was different

I wish the scheduling had been different, I think it was the inconsistency of the scheduling that had left me unhappy with working there.

Advice

I would say if you like free food, and need a job that keeps you busy, I would recommend it highly.

May - July 2020 • Munster, IN

What I liked

The organization of the company was great. The other team members were also very nice!

What I wish was different

The managers were very unorganized. I wish there would have been more members hired. We were always running non stop and sometimes couldn't get a break since we were slammed and under staffed.

Advice

My managers were fired due to unprofessional behavior with other members hired. If you see something that makes you uncomfortable, make sure you report it right away.

What I liked

During a pandemic I believe we weren't really socializing as much, therefore working gave me the ability to finally interact with people especially after being quarantined so long. I like that this place gives me the ability to really practice my multi tasking skills and allows me to grow more as an individual for future experiences.

What I wish was different

I wish our store didn't take cash, because I'm constantly worrying about getting sick.

Advice

To have patience, be ready to multi task, and smile with your eyes.

What I liked

The challenge of working a pressure-cooker job with high stakes and little room for error. The relationships with coworkers. The deep conversations while preparing food. The food itself. Working with customers
