Chinook does a fantastic job of giving summer analysts a high level of responsibility. I crafted whole slides used in pitch decks, and even spoke in a pitch. As an intern, this is an extremely unique experience that other firms do not offer. They also highly encourage questions and participation in company meetings, and each employee serves as a fantastic mentor.
What I wish was different
I wish that interns received more exposure to the financial models used in deals.
Advice
Chinook will always give you opportunities to learn and take on more responsibility if you show that you can handle it. Come hungry to learn with a positive attitude!
