What I liked

I love being able to work with a variety of individuals with different disabilities. They all allow me to grow as an individual and I love being able to help them work on goals and succeed in hopes of becoming more independent in the future!

What I liked

I enjoyed learning new strategies for working with kids with special needs. I was able to connect with the child, their family, and their medical team in order to best serve the child's experience with me. I enjoyed that the time spent with the child felt more like a social interaction rather than an educational experience for the child. I was able to grow a deeper connection with the child as I was given knowledge about the diagnosis that the child had.
