That I had asked to learn more about the administrative processes.

Advice

If you have a friend that says they can get you a job in a fun place and the people there are nice, take the help. You might just get a great position. It pays to know people.

Nature Educator and Programmer

What I liked

I enjoyed learning new skills doing outreach and programming. I love that I am able to grow my skills in public speaking, building connections to people and communities that are underserved, and sharing knowledge and resources with them. Most importantly, it has been great to share my passion and joy of the outdoors and nature stewardship.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have known about this opportunity sooner and joined this program while I was still an undergrad. I also wish I had the courage to communicate with my team better for team building and improvements.
