The work flow – I had days that were wildly busy and kept me out on assignment for my entire shift and there were days were I could sit in the newsroom and catch up on the world's news while gaining a better understanding of what it's like to work in a professional newsroom.

Make sure you apply and try and set up a meeting with the employer to get a better understanding of what the work environment is like and what is expected of you while there. This helped me tremendously when applying to this position.
