I liked getting practical experience in a Gallery related professional environment. It was so nice to make some advantageous professional connections and to make relationships with people who would be helpful for me in navigating future career opportunities
What I wish was different
I wish I had more to contribute to the company. Some days it really felt like I was doing something productive, but at times my duties weren't exactly clear/there wasn't always a lot of work that I could do. With that, I wish that there were more hands on and involved projects for me to work on.
Advice
Ask lots of questions at any internship/beginning level job! Even if you're not getting as much hands on experience as you would like you can always ask your upper level colleagues about what they do and you can gain valuable information and experience that way.
