What I liked

I was able to follow a hybrid modality. I was in the office for 3 days a week and was able to work from home for 2 days a week. I had the opportunity to see an audit conducted.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have seen more aspects of EHS instead of just audit prep.

Advice

Ask lots of questions and get to know the people you work with.

What I liked

I really enjoyed the freedom I was able to have and being able to figure out projects on my own.

What I wish was different

I was a little bummed about the social parts of the job. Typically the team does some sort of golf league but with covid we were not able to do that.

Advice

Be sure to actively seek out projects to work on. You will get out of this job what you put into to.

What I liked

I liked the environment of the company-it is a very friendly atmosphere. I also learned a lot from the people I worked with and was never looked down upon because I was an intern. My input was always asked and that really helped me build confidence in myself. The work was interesting and I quickly became invested in it.

What I wish was different

I interned at the company after they were acquired from BASF; however, the implementation of certain processes was still occurring. This made some things difficult while working there. That being said, this was an external force and there was no way to control it.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions! Also, don't be afraid to try new things. I was able to learn a lot because everyone in my team worked on a different aspect of the project and each one of them taught me skills relating to their role.
