Management was a little all over the place. We got put schedule usually only 12 hours in advanced.
Advice
Don't let a rude table ruin your night. Move on from it so you can continue to provide great service to your other tables.

What I liked
I liked how the job builds communication and people skills because I had to coordinate with the hostess staff, servers, and customers to meet everyone's needs. I liked the work schedule flexibility and how the company worked with students with busy class schedules.
What I wish was different
I wished the job was more of a family by being more positivity constructive instead of critical of new beginning employees errors and that everyone was more willing to help when people need it.
Advice
I would advised you to show up everyday to work ready to go in all black clothing with restaurant grade non-slip shoes. Be mentally and emotionally prepared to face the rush hour with positivity, and professionalism to give the customers a good experience.

I wish i was able to take class but due to money issues i could not. i also wish i could be working in a field that will go hand in hand with my major.
Advice
Food industry is great as a quick summer job but i wouldn’t recommend it for long term.
