Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission is a nationally recognized local county government agency, we have over 11,000 acres of parklands open to the public, including large regional day parks, beach parks, water parks, an equestrian center, a marina, fishing piers, boat landings, an environmental education facility, and a very large recreation programming area.
