I loved the environment. It is such an informative and amazing place to grow in knowledge and compassion in working with special needs kids.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time with each camper to work on their individual goals for the week
Advice
Go in with an open mind ready to learn. You will be trained and taught how to work with special needs kids, but remember they’re just kids! Have fun hanging out with them and loving them!

What I liked
The campers were the best part, but also working with so many amazing people was the second best part.
What I wish was different
Possibly more training, but a lot less intensive. More guidance on activity leading would have been helpful.
Advice
Sleep is your best friend, especially since you’ll be working 14+ hour days.
