My experience with research was a really good one! The thing I enjoyed the most is that with my work I was able to contribute to an ongoing cause that aims at creating a biosensor for the early detection of sepsis. So it was really cool that I was able to do something meaningful this summer.
What I wish was different
Advice
For anyone doing research I would tell them to remember the end goal of what you are trying to do. Because research is a long and difficult process that sometimes feels like you aren't going anywhere. When you continually remind yourself what good can come from your research, it can give you confidence!
