I loved how I got to see all aspects of a luxury fashion brand from the store to corporate level. Every day was different and I had many amazing networking opprotunities. I also got to handle all of the product and try on whatever I wanted. My favorite part was being able to commuincate with the buyers in Paris and assist with the Spring/Summer 2019 buy.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more merchandising experience within the company as a whole and not just the Chicago boutique.
Advice
Be observant. No one is going to tell you your responsibilities or what you should be doing. Take full advantage of all of the resources at your fingertips. Network and keep in contact with your connections.
