CAN is a phenomenal organization which works to enrich the lives of families with autism. I had the opportunity to plan, travel, lead training and speak publicly. I had the opportunity to be part of this non-profit grow from a regional organization to a national organization.
What I wish was different
COVID-19 happened right in the middle of my internship. Which directly effected those in the service industry including resorts and restraints that CAN partners with. This canceled a 6 day training I was going to lead in Orlando.
Advice
This is an opportunity which you can make as much or as little of it as you want. If you are a self starter and motivated, this can provide great benefits, work experience,, and build new networks.
