“CG created an online environment for all interns to feel welcome. A majority of my internship was online until the firm's safety protocols were lifted. Other interns were fully remote. I was not sure how well a fully remote internship would go but it went smoothly. There were monthly meetings to discuss goals and lessons learned. Additionally, CG has 3 niches (core, healthcare services, and litigation). Interns were placed into one niche for the first month. After that, interns can decide if they would like to stay or switch to a different niche. The firm wanted us to create and have the most experience by giving us that flexibility. Overall, my internship with CG was spectacular. I was able to gain experience in both audit and tax and determine which niche was suitable for me. It gave me real world accounting experience while building connections with coworkers and clients.”
