I liked getting 40+ hour weeks in and making overtime pay. In this job, you have a lot of freedom to work at your own pace without constant supervision.
What I wish was different
Sometimes it is tough working outdoors during the hottest days of the year but my boss was very understanding and allowed us to take breaks whenever we thought we needed them.
Advice
It's a physically demanding job if you're soil sampling so it's not going to be ideal for everyone.

What I liked
I learned a lot about the weeds that are an issue in the area. I learned more about the details that go into the planting and growing seasons.
What I wish was different
It was a wet year so it wasn't representative of a typical year of scouting.
Advice
It is a great place to start for anything Agronomy or Agricultural related.
