What I wish was different
The summer is a bit slower in terms of work, and so I didn't have that much work at times. Wish there were more trainings/events for interns to attend

try to make the most of it by reaching out to people for additional work and get to know the people who work there

What I liked
I was able to work in a hands-on environment with a team who has years of experience. It was a great to experience the legislative process from a different angle than that of a government office.
