I really enjoyed the autonomy and depth of the projects that I was given as an undergraduate intern. This is the kind of internship where your work ethic is directly rewarded with new and interesting experiences.
What I wish was different
I wish that there had been more work to do at some points during my internship, as the projects at CASL fluctuate seasonally. I also wish that the grace period for proving that I was a competent undergraduate capable of taking on additional responsibility had been shorter.
Advice
Definitely get to know the people around the office. Respectfully ask for their time and they'll be more than willing to share their expertise with you.
