I had an extremely positive experience working with the marketing team at Celera Motion. I learned many professional skills through this internship that I would not have had the opportunity to learn in school. I was able to learn a lot about what my boss does on a daily bases and how to apply the marketing skills I have learned in school. She also catered the position so I could also apply my graphic design skills to some projects.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had the opportunity to learn more about the sales team and other functions within the business.
Advice
Put yourself out there and apply to internships in an industry where you may not think you have an interest. You really do not know if you will like something until you try it, so try as many things as you can and never say no to a project.
