Supply Chain Intern

May - August 2022 • Irving, TX

What I liked

I liked the company culture, collaborative environment, hybrid work model, and assigned projects.

What I wish was different

Advice

Be engaged: learn all that you can about CE, network, and do not be afraid to ask questions! The best way to do all three is schedule a lunch meeting out with fellow interns and employees.

Mechanical Engineer

June - August 2020 • Bishop, TX

What I liked

The incorporation of online capabilities to insure employee safety during the time of the pandemic. I enjoyed the inclusion I felt when meeting my team and where I would be working. The time I was able to spend getting to observe the different parts of the production process was a great experience.

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to work there longer. Due to COVID, my internship was shortened, and my time on site was limited. These were the main two draw backs.

Advice

Do your best to meet the workers and get chances to explore the processes the plant undergoes during production. Critical in order to be able to be effective in the long run.
