I liked getting to plan events for Cedar City, because it helped me connect to the city more. I learned the importance of how the government spends tax payer dollars for events and the positive impact they make to a community.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have planned more events, because it was so much fun!
Advice
I would like to share that putting on an event takes a lot of hard work and to be appreciative at all events you attend cause those who put them on work hard!

The Aquatic center has hours that are flexible with school schedules
What I wish was different
I wish that the City would give us a raise when they say they will, instead of changing their minds when they send out the paycheck the raise was supposed to be on. >:(
I also wish that they would pay us a higher rate than our daily pay for holidays.
Advice
It's a great job for experience, and knowing how to perform CPR and use an AED looks good on other applications.
Share any concerns you have with the head manager, he will do his best to help you where he can.
