Overall, working for Causa Justa was a great experience. My supervisor listened to my needs and provided feedback. I really appreciated being able to connect with patrons in San Francisco and help out with any concerns they had.
What I wish was different
I wish that the position had been longer. I was hired to fill an interim need, but I think a few more weeks would have provided better support for the communities we were serving.
Advice
My piece of advice would be to allocate time for effective self-care. Despite the short time of the position, calling for four hours a day can be grueling.
