What I liked
I loved the organization's mission statement and values and felt like they were carried out in daily practice. My supervisors were great and I feel like I learned a lot of valuable skills. My supervisors encouraged my use of the organization's learning tools for my personal development.
What I wish was different
Honestly, it was a great experience all around.
Advice
Take advantage of all the learning resources that the organization has to offer.

What I liked
The summer position that I had was flexible. My supervisors explained expectations to me clearly and gave feedback on my work to help me improve. My supervisors were also willing to connect me to others who have expertise in some of my interests.
What I wish was different
I would have liked more collaboration and social interaction. I often felt alone as I did my work individually on the computer for long periods of time.
Advice
Be curious and interested in learning as much as you can from those around you. Don't hesitate to speak to people about things that you are interested in.

The most valuable part of the job were the connections I got to make with my co-workers. Many of them were in a different stage of life than me, but were invauable in terms of advice and support. Make friends with whoever you can.
