I enjoyed helping out with case management at Catholic Charities because of the kind staff and goals. I got to experience client contact and learn more about the social services field through the lens of sociology. I overall felt a sense of purpose and fulfillment at this internship.
What I wish was different
I do wish I would have been paid minimum wage, however, I would do the experience unpaid again.
Advice
I would advise to not be timid at your experience and do not be afraid to ask questions. I would spend some time preparing for the interview.

What I liked
I really liked the people there and all of the work we did that impacted the community.
What I wish was different
COVID really made things harder this semester but aside from that, nothing! The experience was really great.
Advice
Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and be open to new experiences!
