Catawba County Schools is located in the western part of North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are only 45 minutes from Charlotte, 60 minutes from the mountains, and 4 hours from the beach. We serve 15,800 students, each of whom uniquely contributes to our district’s vibrant and engaging learning environment. We have 28 schools that inspire students in grades Pre-K to 12, including an Early College High School & an Alternative School. Our CCS family proudly includes almost 2,000 outstanding employees and is the largest employer group in Catawba County.
