What I liked

Great people and work environment! I got the chance to experience engineering in a manufacturing setting, from raw resource and cast to finished product. I was also able to learn so much about the regulations and standards that guide the industry, but what I truly enjoyed was the opportunity to solve real-world problems and gain knowledge on real-world solutions. As a college freshman at the time, it definitely confirmed my chosen path of study.

What I wish was different

There wasn't really anything to complain about. I was saddled with some busy work (I.e. inputting job and material updates into the ERP system) which could get dull at times but it needed to be done so no real complaints. As a college freshman at the time, I hadn't had all of the course work an upperclassman would have, so I wouldn't have been much use in most areas.

Advice

Be ready to learn and have a good work ethic! Cashco is a great place to work, but you'll need to put in the effort to truly get the most out of your time. As long as you show that you are willing to learn and are willing to do the best job you can with whatever you're given, it doesn't matter how much you know going in, they will teach you!
