What I liked

I enjoyed learning everything possible about cars and car dealerships, I got to go on transport trips in cars to different dealerships all over the state and once to North Carolina which I always found enjoyable. I also learned how to detail cars which I feel is a good skill to have as I can detail my car whenever or even do it on the side for money. A funny thing which I enjoyed about the job was I became extremely good at backing up cars, as I had to unload cars off of semi-trucks and park them around the lot.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have had the opportunity to start training to sell cars, because I feel like that would be a good summer job while still in college as a lot of money can be made at the dealership I worked at. Some salespeople on a good month would make 100K+ over the summer.

Advice

When you're doing work that involves driving cars as your main job you must always be paying attention, I never wrecked a car on the lot but there was multiple instances while I worked there over the summer that cars were wrecked and severely damaged sometimes.
